Sanna Sarromaa is novelist, sosiologist and history teacher known for her many debate articles in Norwegian media. In a debate article in Norway’s most read newspaper om December 31 2021, with the headline “The extreme Norwegian politeness”, she had the following to say about the unvaccinated:
“But this politeness can actually be counterproductive. People don’t get to hear what they should hear.
Just think of the unvaccinated. They are some fucking idiots who deserved to stand in gaping stick in every public square around the country for the whole of January, followed by a light, but still quite painful, beating, but Norwegians don’t say that. It wouldn’t have been polite. It’s more important to be nice than honest. So instead of a well-deserved beating up, anti-vaccers are only nicely encouraged to get vaccinated.”
