Le Monde refuses to cover presidential candidate

In the April 10 issue of the newspaper Le Monde, the newspaper published answers to some questions about environmental issues that the newspaper had asked the candidates in the 2012 presidential election.

But not all candidates. In a footnote to the article, one could read: “We did not ask Cheminade, following Le Monde’s policy since Cheminade was officially recognised as a candidate”.

No lofty democratic ideals in le Monde by other words.

For some useful background, one can read about the LaRouche movement, which Cheminade and his party is a part of here (links will be provided as http://www.fampo is updated).
