“The Child Protection Service into Tjøme-school” was the headline in an article on page 4 in Tønsbergs Blad, the largest local newspaper in Vestfold on February 10. 2010. It is said that the CPS will be present at the high school (pupils aged 12 – 16) once a month. The newspaper quotes psychiatric nurse in Tjøme, Dyveke Sundt Frogner: “This is not the least meant for the young themselves. We know from experience that youth contact us. They contact us for instance when they, for various reasons, are worried for friends. Youth do care, and they contact us because they believe that we can do something”.
