Anthony C. Sutton was born in London in 1925 and studied at universities in London, Gottingen and California. Sutton was a scientist at Hoover Institution for War, Revolution and Peace at Stanford from 1968 to 1973.

Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler is his fourth book. The book discloses several pivotal connections between the financial elite on Wall Street and the rise of naziism and Hitler's takeover in Germany.

Sutton cites several documents which show that the financing of Hitler was done by subsidiaries of American companies, among them Henry Ford in 1922, followed by from I.G.Farben and General Electric in 1933 and payment to Heinrich Himmler from Standard Oil of New Jersey and a subsidiary of I.T.T. until 1944.

American multinational companies profitted on Hitler's armament in the 30s and at least until 1942. The same international bankers used their influence to hide their collaboration when the war was over.
